Hi guys, I am a former Zune hardware owner (left my player outside in 4 days of rain!) but still use the Zune software.? Here's my magic wish list of features I'm requesting for Zune's desktop client: * List total # of files, GB of files, play length?(mins., hrs., days,etc.) of all files (as seen at bottom of "Music" section of iTunes library.)   * Support more types. Even with monitoring all my media folders...

i would love to see this as well.. but.. regarding opomons post.. the reason you can rip cds and not dvds, is because for the most part cds are not encrypted... while all dvds are.... breaking the encryption is what is illegal... (i say just remove the encryption from DVDs, then we dont have to break anything, and all is well) p

You could see a list of all your purchased songs by going to your Collection, and then click on the "Show" drop-down menu (just below "Music" and "Videos"), and click "Personal Content". That will only show songs you've purchased. You can also use that to only see songs you've downloaded with Zune Pass. =)

Thanks, that works out. Im use to another program I used (maybe Windows Media Player, not sure) had a button like that.

I searched quickly and didn't see anything on this topic. I have several playlists I use frequently, some with a wider range of variety than others. I'm constantly adding new songs to these playlists, some songs I add to 4 or 5 playlists. A feature that I would find helpful would be the ability to add to mulitple playlists at once. For instince after right clicking a song and selecting 'Add to playlist'? being able to hold...

The reason why we can rip CDs is because of the fair use policy of personal use. The MPAA would have a field day with this. DVDs are ment to be played on the medium it was handed out. It's breaking copyright law of mechanics by transferring them over to another media. The only exception to this is the digital copy DVDs. Those are ment to be transferred over....
