Not sure what the heck you are talking about.? The Zune software only downloads what you ask it to.? Do you have any defined Smart DJs, or Channels, or inclusive Playlists?added?? You need to supply more details.

Gave that a try on my 30..? I ripped something new & got it synced to the device.. and it was put in the 'other' menu... Then I changed it to TV/series and re synced..? No go..? still in the 'other' menu I changed it to 'music' re synced, and yes.. it shows up in music. Then changed it to TV/Series re synced..? and finally, it's in TV..? There is a bug in here somewhere.. just not sure where..? I...

I've fixed the issue, you ave to remove the tracks that are mis-genre'd sync, and reput the track back and re-sync

I'm having the same problem now.? It's happened before on odd occasion, but I thought that with the Media Collection Reset Tool (which I used for a separate problem), that it would solve itself.? But it's striking again now, with a vengance.? I don't suppose you two, or anyone else, knows the proper fix?? So far, I'm just doing things the hard and annoying way - manually changing the metadata of the file with MP3Tag,...

I've been fiddling with the Smart DJ playlists in the playlist area and know what you're talking about.? Unfortunately the quickpin smart dj playlists from the Quick Play page aren't listed here.? I'm starting to dig through the registry, etc., in hopes of finding them!

I noticed that my favorites show up as a playlist in windows media center (Windows 7). It's odd that I can't see my favorite song list in the zune software. Does anyone know the answers above ^^^^^

The chance that there really is a trojan is very remote. Something is causing McAfee to mistakenly classify those files- I suggest you contact their customer support and/or surf their forums for a solution.

I'm trying to get a hold of the preloaded pictures too. I found a zip file someone made, but when you move the picutres to your zune, the images have compression artifacts and don't look as sharp. If anyone knows how to restore the original pictures, it would be greatly appreciated....

Edit the tags yourself until you at least have the album, artist, and song title correct. Then 'find album info' has enough to be able to find it. You can also enable the software to do it automatically in the settings... (If you let the software do it, it will take some time.)...

Re-encoding/converting content already compressed with a lossy codec like MP3 will theoretically have slightly lower quality that encoding the track directly from an uncompressed or Lossless source. I would select Device in the Zune PC software - and check the Just Added / Removed options - it could be a song it doesn't like syncing and it's constantly retrying it - I have had something similar with Music videos I have converted to work with my Zune...
