Here’s a test of two different Ss. I do think there’s something to the flow of the lowercase s. It’s not quite there yet, but I’m not sure if I can really put my finger on it though. ———————————————————- Read Between the Leading podcast | Pixelspread

Very nice - delicate but firm. I’m only looking at the base alphanumerics for now. First thing: spacing too tight (even though this be used mostly very large). I would shorten the descenders, and raise the tittles. 6/9: I like them, but I wonder if they clash. But maybe since they’re not alphabetic it’s OK. L: Too wide. M: Try splaying it. P: Bigger head. Q: Tail no good. Maybe try a detached one? W: Too narrow....

the lowercase s. It’s not quite there yet Even out the counters (raise the spine). The upper counter looks much bigger than the lower which gives the glyph a bit of an inverted feeling.

IMVHO, go for the flat everywhere, the detailing is not good enough in the version with the slit.

Rockin’ the Ss. Don’t limit yourself to thinking they have to be the same: For lowercase s, the left/black s (i.e. my suggestion, so take that as you will) is most harmonious in context. But capital S benefits from symmetry of top and bottom; the 12:55 Nov 29 S is still a frontrunner in my view, along with the “8ish” S (perhaps trim the ends more open) and the middle grey S (correct the overbite on the...

(Blank posts?...) Now I kind of want to see those curved terminals on the ’a’ and the ’e’ as well. >_>

I like it. I especially like the use of contrast in the lowercase letters. One thing that strikes me as a little off is the capital R; the bowl stroke begins to thin as it comes down and around but is then eclipsed by the heavier leg stroke; I’d like to see those two strokes harmonized a bit more. But on the whole it’s quite attractive. Nice work.

I would try to avoid the problem of the small aperture also in p, q and g. You can ’flatten’ the top of these letters instead of the bottom.

Overall, I think this is great. The “s” is the one thing that really jumps out at me. The curves just don’t feel quite right, maybe the bottom could be a bit heavier than the top and not be such a mirror. In the numbers, digits like 5, 6, 8, 9, felt a bit more geometrically forced than the alphabet, which feels really well resolved. Other than that, none of the other characters bothered me, and...

Most humanist sans would work quite well, especially those with a classical architecture. ITC Legacy Sans, for example. One could also go with more of a contrasting geometric sans, like Futura, or my own Hypatia Sans.

Looking really good. Maybe even try it as a screen face because it has the geometric structure that I think would lend well to the screen and small print sizes. However, it would also excel at large poster sizes because of the quirkiness to some of the letterforms. But I think that the ’s’ in both capital and lowercase could be tweaked to fit the rest of the forms. I’m also into the lowercase ...

Nice effort. I like it. But, with so many out there, wouldn’t be easier to modify one that’s already in the public domain?

Hate to complain, but your site is busted under Firefox. Works great with IE though. (At least on my system!)
Having said that, your font design is a clever idea, IMO.

Well, minimalistic it is. But distinguishing uppercase I from 1 or lowercase l seems problematic to me. And the descender of lowercase g seems slightly unbalanced. Same goes for lowercase s, I guess. But I’m not an expert, so maybe it’s just me. Possibly you should wait for real professionals to provide more constructive critique.

This reminds me of Jan Tschichold’s unicase experiment
The only thing i would say is that the caps need to be lighter
