from cliffords site. Remote Valet Where's the Valet switch? Locked away in the glove box! Open the vehicle's door and get in and out of Valet by pressing 1-2-1 on your remote. Remote Valet turns security off but leaves convenience on. You can turn off the system for servicing or valet parking directly from the remote control. Convenience by remote control: No more reaching for a switch installed in the vehicle. BUT try what...

No. The imprint system IMHO is made for a car where you can really set a nice soundstage. The s2000 is a noise maker, and all your efforts will be lost with the general loudness of the car. --------------------

New HU for Ipod
Published (2008-11-18 15:03:00)
Hey guys, I'm in another S2000 now. I lost my Alpine HU when they totalled my last car. My last car had a decent Alpine HU with Modifry adapter thingy. It was the Remote type, where the little sensor thing had to hang in front of the face plate. I don't want that on my next stereo, I want the Modifry harness that plugs directly into the HU. I also want a good headunit to listen to my Ipod and CD's with. Aside from the HU, the...

QUOTE (Gooseman @ Nov 19 2008, 04:18 PM) Depending on how many speakers you're hooking up, if it's only 2, then a 2 channel will suffice. If it's four, then go with a 4 channel. If you're hooking up tweeters (I believe for Polk it's DB6500, but don't quote me on that) they come with a cross over, so a 2 channel is still fine for that, though you can still go with a 4 channel depending on the tuning capabilities...

Published (2008-11-16 19:18:00)
I"m looking at upgrading to an x100, to be able to 'Imprint' (tune) the system for our cars. My questions: Is this really worth doing (I have a 9857 now with an amp, subwoofer, and Polk Audios in the doors). I was going to tune with the hardtop on (quietest setup). Will the 'hardtop tune' sound terrible later on with the softtop up and/or with the top down? I don't want to have to go back and retune twice a...

I dont know how/why it happened, but it just did. I have an after market clifford alarm, and just recently it will not arm/disarm my car. When I click the button, all it does is lock/unlock my car, but doesnt actually trigger the alarm. I looked at my alarm LED light, and instead of blinking red when its armed, and off when its disarmed, it just stays a solid red. I don't know what ...

Hello all, I just installed my new iDA-X100 Alpine iPod receiver thingy and DCI. Thanks to Modifry for making the world's easiest to install wiring harness by the way. Using the iPod connection is a little better, but I still need over half of ...

So last week I got my system hooked up. However, when it came time to mount the amp, my installer told me the only way he could do it is to vertically mount the amp if I didn't want to lose the spare and tools. this would require drilling into the frame and cutting up the trim for wires...I didnt like that idea so we havent mounted the amp yet. I am starting to lean towards just ...

well i just bought a 2000 s2k, but i have found somethings that don't work. Cruise control has power up to the cruise power switch but it will not engage. The alarm system doesn't seem to be working at all. I replaced the remote battery, but it had no effect on the problem. I tried looking for blown fuses but couldn't find the fuses for these two. I think the problem is that some ...
