( Under the expense category I have repairs and maintenance, and supplies and materials as two separate categories. I referenced the first one as \(1\) and the second one as \(2\). ( I started using QB in May 2008. When I OPEned my accounts some of the balances went to OPE. I still show a negative balance for that account and have read countless articles, and cannot seem to solve my problem. Three of the balances increased the account.
