R10 vs Version 10
Published (2009-12-18 17:06:00)
( If you are on R9 now, the patch to go to R10 shouldn't be that hard. It is a more normal update. As far as I've seen. The R9 issue was because they made a big change to the underlying database system, which normally doesn't happen mid year like that. Going from R9 to R10 doesn't involve that kind of thing. If you are on R8 or older, then the move to R10 has the same update issues as moving from R8 to R9. Anything from R8...

( Thanks for the links CCRussel.  I am debating if/when to update to 10 and the DMS would be awesome if we could link every invoice to the original purchase order and bill of lading, and every PO to the receiving documents.  I am going to test it out at home for a few days before installing it at the workplace.  Question, if it is to be linked to a cloud and not stored on our own hardware, is it then possible to...

( I was able to highlight some of the lines, and go to edit and  "delete employee".   there was no name or address when I went into the blank lines but there was hourly wage info. so deleting was the way to get ride of the line. Several of the lines state this name is part of the sales rep and could not be deleted.   I have not had time to follow through on this. ,...

How can duplicity my company in QB?
Published (2009-12-18 10:39:00)
( Honestly I've never tried this and not sure why you would want to.  But if you want to duplicate your file, with all transactions, then I would just make a copy of the existing file and rename the copy.  If you're trying to transport a copy of your file somewhere, you might consider making a portable company file which is a much smaller file size. If you're trying to do something else, you'll...
