F70EXR -- Birds in Flight

Kim, I have an area set up in my woods for the birds and that was the area I was speaking about. It was in a new area this year to let the old area rest, but alas I finally migrated to the new area. It is so dark in this area. I'll try to take some photos of it and share. It's quite a walk and the area is carved on the rim of a precipice which is so cool because there is now a feeding table that I can view from the overlook. A...

Thank you Joe. Auto WB indoors is absolutely fantastic. I didn't feel the need to tweak it a lot. I think I have warmed some shots by a notch or two, but I would have been fine with the initial result.

... Great series on the war birds and beautiful Autumn colours. I've not done much (if any) shooting recently, but here are a couple of recent PP'd images. Both of these are shot at Ayuthaya. Once described as 'the Venice of the east', it was destroyed in the late 1700's by invading armies. It was originally the capital of ancient Siam - Pre Bangkok. Great place for photos, amongst the ruins....

Certainly not worth that much to me. As for the meory card, the winning bidder can simply stick his own memory card in there and use the camera perfectly fine. xD cards are still available at fairly cheap prices. To who and for what. If there is a specific answewr to that then maybe not. For most things I would happily recommend it. If your need is sports photography or wildlife photography I wouldnt. If you can live with the range its a great little camera. Ted Pat Joh wrote: > So would you or would you not recommend the Fuji F200 EXR camera? > Why or why not?

Love these, not only are they beautifully prepared, but they are very different to the scenes in Australia, so are like a travel magazine to me. Brian

Thanks for this excellent comparison, and you have verified my hunch. I believe the quality of the Canons comes from Canon's care in isolating circuit board electrical interference from interacting with the inherent noise from the sensor. I am starting to believe that you do get something in return for the exhorbitant amount that Canon is asking for their cameras, especially in Australia. I ...

Use a tripod and limit the ISO to 200 to prevent noise. Don't save the initial photo at a reduced size. The native image sizes for the F70 is 5 and 10 megapixels, I think.
