Every year, my parents shy away from buying me DVDs. They say because they don't know what I have, despite the fact that I try to keep a vaguely updated Amazon wishlist of such things in case they want to. Really, it's because they judge me for wasting my life on such things! But this year? A whole bunch of movies. WTF? HS

Must be one of those tactics to get people to buy expensive Blu-Ray players. In all honesty, I have no idea. Amazon sometimes charges a couple bucks extra for new DVD releases over their Blu-Ray counterparts. I'm not going to complain though.

For Christmas I got Smallville (Season 8), The Simpsons (Seasons 12), and the complete series Kanon.
