Having the girlfriend over for the weekend and letting my friends fill up my weekend schedule has not been conducive to keeping my word count where it should be. I did sit down last night and spat out 1000 words in the course of a half hour though. Which I wish would happen more often! I'm still behind by a little over a day, but I have to say I'm feeling pretty good about it.

I'm not going to completely give up. I'm going to try another story idea. Different variations of the story have been running around in my head and I want to give it a shot. I'm going to shot for 25k so I'm not too rushed.

First of all, I want to say congratulations. You've come a long, long way from the Year Zero fan-film we saw a while back. To be totally honest I wasn't expecting much when I clicked on the link but I was very pleasantly surprised. It's creative and very well-executed. Great work!

Here's the recipe for my favourite italian dish ever, and an old favourite to most people, Bolognese ragu, I learnt the proper recipe in Bologna, and now I'm bringing this shit to you guys, it takes a long time to cook but once you got the hang of it it's easy to make and doesn't require much attention after the first few steps.

I think leaving the club open and not maintaining a membership list that's required to post is a great idea. It may take some of the pressure off and relieve the "Oh, but I can't make that deadline..." feeling. I also think the new prompt every Sunday is a lovely idea.

I think you should know a few things before you commit to this project. Never say "you're in this for the art." The first reason anyone gets into an art related field is for the art. If you want someone to spend time on this, give people incentive.
