Are you actually saving the Ultrabeat kit, or are you just saving the Logic song with the state of Ultrabeat? Try actually saving the kit, then reloading it, then saving the song. On a reload, are the samples loaded correctly now?

Hi guys, just after a bit of advice here. I am looking for a PCI soundcard for my Powermac G4. Was planning on getting an Emu 1212m until I realised that they are not Mac compatible. This card is for recording the stereo mix from an analogue desk so I'm after very good converters. Would be nice if the card had MIDI too so I could use the G4 as a stand alone audio instrument if I wish...

I've just started a music tech course at uni (audio & music technology at UWE) and we are currently still using cubase sx 2.2 for MIDI sequencing. I've had a quick search around the net trying to find a copy for mac but have come up short. Anybody have any ideas?

Hi, I'm getting into that situation of having way too many external lacie FW hard drives storing all my libraries and audio files. (about 12 terabytes) I'm thinking of setting up a RAID system to give me a worry and stress free way of backing up several terabytes of data. I don't want the cost to be too prohibitive but at the same time, I'm aware that for peace of mind so I don't have ...

stilts101 - out of interest have you tried the unofficial "JJ" OS for the MPC1000 ? There are more options relating to sync, tho I haven't tried myself.

Hi everybody, I have a Power Machine with 2GB of Ram and 2 x 2.0 Processors. Recently i instaled some new plug ins and Logic 8 (wich is my main tool) dosent start anymore. During the starting process, when it checks the Audio Core it gets stoked and appears one of those "funky" messages on the sacreen saying that Logic closed automatically. Can somebody help me? Thanks a lot...
