"Self improvement is masturbation. Now self destruction... " In my opinion he meant, self help books and the like are shit. You learn more about yourself on the way down to rock bottom. I could be wrong but it seemed to be the general theme of the movie. Great movie filled with all sorts of nuggets of joy.

Working out tips
Published (2009-12-29 23:03:00)
I want to start working out, but only on my stomach to lose the slight belly and get some tone. What food types do I want to try and avoid/cut out and how much daily exercise is enough to improve on this area and maintain it?

THERE IS NO SPOON
Published (2009-12-29 11:34:00)
Great vid, these Kids do actually exist who can do exactly the things seen in the movie. The one bending spoons, then earlier you see a girl with 3 cubes flying in the middle of her hands. These are the so callled "superkids" from china. There used to be only a few of them, now, so it's said, there are more than 1000 in china alone. And they have been found all over the globe. But how come these things are happening just now?...

You can do arts easily in your own time. Given the mandatory nature of school its focus should be on more essential teachings not bonus stuff.

I have found this video, which I think is very interessting. The style of the video is a little bit mysterious but the main topic is the same. What is reality? Does a free will exists? and is the substance of the universe consciousness? btw I have to add that "the illuminati" in the video is in my opinion just an other word for "influences" on human beeings. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eSY94kybY68&feature=related

Lazy, much?!
Published (2009-12-29 05:35:00)
I've tried these the last couple of days and they really worked for me, instead of just sitting behind my PC the whole day I just did what I had to do (I even fixed my bed which was broken for like 2 months XD) My cousin has the same problem as I have, but when I asked him about it he said he liked being lazy better, so that wasn't much of a motivation :P So I just asked one of my best friends with the same problem to join me and he...

How to find your purpose?
Published (2009-12-23 21:42:00)
Find something that you dislike in relation to what you love, and then fight to change it, by doing what you do love. For example, you could love science and dislike the current methods of science education, and change it. Or, like animals and dislike that people don't care about them. Or you could like history/laws and hate corruption... I don't know! You tell me =) Finding the purpose is not really the hard thing, the hard thing is...

Identify the crossroads in your day where there is a clear choice: Lazy or Non-Lazy, then pick Non-Lazy :) Other than that - use your energy on important things like exercise and socialising instead of gaming and masturbation (don't lie). You can still do the unimportant things but put the other stuff first!

I am from germany and I have to say the language is very difficult. For example: there are three forms of "the" in german it's "der","die" and "das" but I hope you find your way and motivate yourself. Sorry I can't write more I am very busy atm :P

I've seen that movie like at least twenty times, maybe more and in my opinion it's one of the greatest ever made, if not THE greatest. There are quiet a lot of quotes that would be interesting to discuss, and the two you picked are most certainly ones. "It's only after we've lost everything that we're free to do anything." To me, it says that only if you lose something entirely, you also lose...

You got it right, Neuroplasticity happens on both sides, it has Positive but also Negative impacts. One can recover from a brain or organ injury by transposing a brain function to another body part. Some success were made by teaching someone with a permanent Labyrinthitis (loosing to ability to stabilize yourself) by using an electronic level with an electrical output been transported to the ...

well there has been actual cases about this. people who have been able to controle their mind in fucked u situations. some were blackouts but some were also an extreme show of character and mindawareness in those individuals. i believe that there is something to it, and yes there is alot you can read about it on the internet.
