Should be different. Metastock formula of McGinley Dynamic indicator is not McGinley Dynamic indicator. So, in elite section - it was coded based on the original article. And in the end of the article - something as "New McGuinley dynamic". So, it was coded by 2 options: as normal one and as new one (based on the parameter/input). It is what I see from the description of the post.
