Wow! $30,000 in tools? Where did you say that you live? Seriously, you might want to take a look at your homeowner's insurance and make sure that they are covered. If necessary take pictures of your trays of tools to prove ownership (maybe). At any rate, it is always great when someone shows up with more knowledge than me, and is willing to get involved. Welcome aboard!

I have purchased them in the past, but not on my current vehicles. I don't recall what I paid, but I jbow I never "got my money back", although I had some failures after it ended (vehicle is now 12 years old). It's like going to the casino. You are betting you car is going to fail and Ford is betting it will not. If you do get one, get the bumper to bumper coverage.

This car shifted funny when we picked it up, and after reading through some posts here, I elected to have the transmission flushed and serviced. I elected for some additional transmission additives that were supposed to help it shift smoother. Well, it shifts perfectly and runs out smooth (first time a trans service fixed an issue for me!). Now, it is good to go as a daily driver so the ...

Welcome. sounds like either a bad starter or alternator to me but more info is needed:
how many miles on the car? was the car just turned on or had it been driven and then just died? have you tried giving the car a jump/charging the battery?

Ray,
Welcome to the forum. I know little of racing and big block engines, so you will hear little from me.
I hope that you will be willing to share your knowledge with some who may benifit from it. Perhaps you will make some friends in the proformance section.
Good luck, and have fun!

At ease CPO, normally your WP is bad if your car is overheating (is it overheating?).
just need some more info: how many miles, what kind of engine (5.0, 4.6?) and define " squeak"?
engine squeak, does it squeak when your turn your steering wheel left and right?, a squeak when your accellerate, stop, idle, ????
more info please

Cigar lighter is most likely a blown fuse. and uit could also be affecting
blower speeds too allthought that would most likely be a relay or breaker
not a simple fuse
