And for anyone who's gone thru this before, any recommendations for tires which are a bit less noisy yet grip well in wet & snow? I'm willing to sacrifice a little corner performance for more humane sound and f/e.

Thanks for all the info from all posters. I'm going to try several of the techniques recommended. My Excursion's 6 CD changer is all loaded but says " No CD". I tried the no fuse fix to no avail as yet. Since I now have the radio part way out of the dash, I'll remove the wires this time for the next "no power" fix attempt. Wolf

How long should I expect a 2007...
Published (2009-12-23 18:27:00)
I am looking at a 2007 ZX4 to buy. It has 60K miles. I'm wondering how many miles these engines last. It is probably good for now, but how good will it be when it reaches 100K in a few years. And can I expect to resell it at a reasonable price once it is close to or above 100K miles. (They are asking $5800 now)

the auto start, is it factory or is aftermarket? aftermarket remote starts that are installed incorrectly can cause intermittent starting problems. have you tried to start the car with the remote starter when you can't with the key?
