Yes that's with using the IR gun. I was in Harbor freight today and they had the same type of gun for $ 39.99. They also had gauges c/w senders for 20.00 bucks that may work for transmission temp range. The best one was a water temp gauge but I think I could keep track. IIRC. Ford started using cap-less on the 2009 Escape and the 2010 Fusion Hybrid. I only go in for fuel once a month, but so far, I kinda like the new cap-less refueling. (I always use Self-serve). But, if you go to a full service station up there in the frozen north, you better check the rearview to make sure the pump jockey closed the little hatch..
