I always loved that segment on SNL. I miss Phil Hartman, he was so funny. __________________

OMGosh! I hate to say it but there were many things in that video that I do without giving it much thought. All food related trash, that can't go in the disposal, gets wrapped and placed in the bottom of the big freezer until trash day. That way it won't smell up the trash can. Had to laugh as I did wrap the insides of the pumpkin in paper towels and then aluminum foil and placed them in a bag...yikes , I guess I am pretty anal when...

Comcast On Demand has a commercial to watch some of the episodes on demand and I swear the lady calls him Bobby. __________________ Those who forget the pasta are condemned to reheat it.

My TV segment
Published (2009-11-06 19:08:00)
Good segment , I have been a traditionalist when it come to tailgating, beef burgers, hot dogs and brats. Seems like all this new stuff takes away the true meaning for me, which is, that your out to cheer your team on. Guess maybe I like things not to change and stay the same can I be 25 again and know what I know now, life sure would have been different. Oh well one thing for sure change is the only constant thing around. __________________...

This topic is actually sort of a hobby of mine. As I am not terribly interested in the tabloids and whatnot, I often look at what other people are buying while waiting in the checkout line. Many a time I have seen a whole family of enormous people, often with more than one cart filled to overflowing. Almost inevitably, those carts are laden with junk food. Usually low-fat junk food, to boot. "Baked, not Fried!" chips, low-fat or...

Right now (for lunch) it's leftover Mongolian Beef I made the other night and for dinner it's either chicken marsala or Alton's stuffed pork chops.

I've been asked to make most of the things that I made last year.
Turkey (with Alton's brine), mashed potatoes, honey ginger glazed carrots, praline sweet potatoes, stuffing, geen bean casserole, cranberry relish, and homemade rolls.
Dessert is still up in the air, it will likely be pumpkin cheesecake, pecan pie, pumpkin pie or whatever is requested.
This is by far my favorite meal...

I've seen the commercial for it a couple times over the weekend. From what I saw it remained me of " American Chopper" set in a bakery with Buddy playing the "Big Paul" role.
Thought about checking it out, but it comes on the same time as "Medium." So, if they air it again during the week maybe I'll catch it.

I have been playing that one too. I didn't know if I would like it at first, but I really do. I am a Face book Chef now.

Well, that was disappointing. I watched the show for almost 40 minutes before TR made a very brief appearance.
From what I had read, I thought he was going to have a much bigger role.
Of course, I'd like to see him again on the show, but only if they feature him for more than a minute. The show is not that interesting to me.
Better yet, have him appear more often on the FN.
