My new, sweet Thermapen Instant read thermometer came in the mail today! I cashed in a few Amazon.com gift certificates to get this little guy, been eying it for years since I saw Alton with one (then he recommended it in the Gear book). Mine AB's So, has anyone bought kitchen equipment because of Alton or based on Alton's recommendations? I'm very, very guilty of this. But...

Hey, don't get me wrong. I'm a big AB fan, in fact he was the one who got me watching the Food Network in the first place. I was flipping channels, and suddenly there was this fellow nerd, explaining cooking, with SCIENCE! However, there is at least one unitasker I am not willing to give up.
