never heard of that header for the focus. if you want any amount of power from a header on a standard zetec focus there is
only one way to go. get a SVT focus header swap. best header swap you can possibly get for the focus right now. you can also stay 100% emissions legal in ANY state with this swap so long as you use the SVT header, CAT, and flex pipe. you will also need a SVT oil dipstick tube...

could be several things. alternator could be gone or be on its way out causing your car to pull juice from the battery alone or it could be the opposite which is more likely once i think about it. the battery is going bad and is barely holding enough power to turn the engine over but once the engine starts the alternator kicks on and everything brightens up. do your lights stay dim or are they ...

the stock maps are pretty conservative you probably wouldnt harm anything but you will see a lot more benefit from the cams if you had it tuned.

what kind of filter is it? if its oiled then just go get a k and n recharge kit, if its not oiled then some of them you can vacuum, some you clean with
soap and water or just water and then you let them sit for a few hours until theyre dry. and yes tunes are usually around $400, sometimes you can come across a sct tuner cheaper then that but ballpark is usually $300-$400 from what i tend to see.

The MTX-75 5-Speed is better than the Gertag 6-Speed off the line. I know that first hand.
The
6 may be better top end though. I personally think the MTX-75 has plenty of top end for what you will probably ever need though.
Ideally, if I had the money, I would use a MTX-75 with a Torsen or Quaife Differential and 4.06" Final Drive Gears.

Looks like the
OBX header setup. If you want long-tube headers go with the SVT header conversion.
