not really. starting to put stuff together by looking through alldata, gotta print out the full schematics to really make any headway though. also gotta plan out $$$$ for the last parts i'll need. that could be a problem.

ok guys, i got a full copy of all data also if u need any thing else. its loaded in to an exteranal hard drive i have. half shafts i'm thinking a stock cougar p.s. half shaft will work perfectly. i should know by the end of the week. wiring, you might wanna try just pulling a full cougar/contour body harness and rewire it into your stock stuff since u have all data. gauges u should deffinatly run the cougar/contour ones. they will fit...

I know what you mean by all the last parts. Thats what killed my sr20 s13 swap. Had everything to go and was sooooo close but then all the last little pieces got me (couldnt find anything) and then my &quot;friend&quot; who was helping me dropped my car 2 ft off the stands and cracked the unibody right up the firewall. Had to part what i could and sell it. It sucked but o well time for another project ha ha ...... Hows the internship...

Not a V6, I know that will force you to fiddle around with more mods. I meant the 2.5L I-4 with it's 6 speed auto tranny FWD not AWD I dunno what it looks like down there but I was just wondering

if im not mistaken the head is where you make your power on the svt and the header of course. there are ways to run the svt intake on a non svt motor. the problem is the wiring is different. the svt uses a different engine harness because of the vct and dual stage intake. i would think that using the stock zetec head and intake wouldnt require and modifications to the wiring. but at the same time...

yeh, i believe u can even use your current system. i dont think the steering/ ignition key starter wouldnt matter in the swap.

I'd like to go a Duratec 2.3 with a T3/T4 mated to a T5 turning the rear wheels with a 8.8" diff. Pretty pointless swap but it seems like it'd be fun. Edit: in a base white hatchback... My SVT is staying stock for as long as I own it. :)

Yes it would fit into a Focus. But you wont find anyone who has done it. Many times its been brought up about putting the speed 3 engine in a focus but its way to much money and custom fab work.

you do realize that getting an engine to fit is only about 5% of the swap right? if you can cram a 351W into a focus you can pretty much make anything fit. the only "easy" engine swap you will ever do will be to pull out the engine you have and swap in a newer identical engine. anything other than that and you will probably get a headache
