E85 also is not regulated at this time so the octane is going from hi to low octane and isnt a good fuel to use for performance , I have seen a ton of engines blown using it Tom

I think its the common belief that either intake an sri, or a cai (love my cai) will offer minimum gains and the main reason to get one is for the sound they produce. That being said the cai produces a far superior, much louder sound than the sri will.

Pretty dang close to 7whp without a tune. The stock cat is such a huge restriction. A tune will give you more power with or without an ORP. It's a good mod if you don't mind the smell and the noise. I like high flow cats myself...

No would I see a advantage using a aftermarket tb on my JRSC instead of the stock one?

Difficult to shift into 2nd gear
Published (2009-12-22 13:26:00)
I used to have issues shifting 1-2 if I was driving agressive. I was hitting the gate for reverse. I was used to my previous car which was 5-speed and reverse was under 5 and if I wanted to shift hard 1-2 to ENSURE i never missed 2nd i would always pull to the left alittle. I lost that habit quick and ive been good to go since. Just make sure you are pulling straight down into 2nd. I know it sounds retarded but i had to throw it out there.

Sorry to burst your bubble but I made "178" whp. I say "178" because I don't believe the dyno. It was a Mustang dyno and I'm not sure if it was calibrated correctly. I dynoed on a DynoJet and put down 165, same mods (had an underdrive pulley, not anymore). Not sure what kind of power you gain from a ported head all motor. CaysE has a ported head with JRSC + BBK and didn't make much more ...

that looks to be a CFM pipe. yes, its a good price. its just a hair under what they sell them for. id like to know what company made the piece though. in the picture, i only see 1 o2 bung. also, the bung isnt where it is on the OEM piece. stainless beats mild steel any day of the week.
