A: What's the body again? Another Focus?
B: ZX2's might have different
fuel injection systems (not sure) but if so, simply swapping parts from your intake should allow it to work. There might be other differences but as long as you have a Focus Zetec engine on hand to pull parts from you should be ok. If you don't, forget other vehicle's engines if your body is a Focus.

No one has an '08 specific info for me? I know the engine/drivetrain configuration has remained the same, I am just a little wary on the
electronic side of it. I plan to start this immediately after Christmas, so anything before then would be helpful.....or during actually.

the pump is different. i don't care what anyone says. i've used both a
zetec and an svt pump and the svt flows quite a bit more.
glad you got your car running. i've done a complete SVT swap, if you have anymore questions hit me up with a PM and i'll be glad to answer them.

frontal impact that totals a car can potentially damage the transmission. You're right to try to find a complete vehicle. You'll need to pull the carpet/seats, and replace all the modules in the car so that those will jive with the new computer. Your biggest problem might be ABS or SRS if your vehicle doesn't have the extra options that the donor vehicle has....

ZF transaxles are what are used in GT40's and Pantera's as well. That's an expensive option there.
I should've known that, it just slipped my mind, or as a friend says "I lost those brain cells at Woodstock." LOL

what is the chance that I can leave the car FWD???
Chance?
Ever hear how much of a chance a snowball has in h
e double l?
You'd have to mount the V8 in a transverse orientation, and somehow find a V8 transaxle.
Then, widen the car by about a foot at least so it would all fit.
