i have toms tune and have a little ahgning revs but it ahs to be a vacuum line or something, ineed to datalog some stuff but still its a night and day difference from stock tune, stock tune was difficult to drive with when i had to restore stock tune to the car. but check some of your vacuum lines, clear your ecu, clear your kam (keep alive memory), and also go back and check the connections of the sensors that its saying are faulty. unplug and...

Fill up the fluid then pump the brakes hard about ten times......then pump the clutch about 20 or 30 times. Then get under the car and look for leaks. It could just be that your brake pads have worn down enough to lower the brake fluid reservoir to the point that the light turns on. It could also just be that you have a leak.

My tune from Mike at Unique has zero cold start issues and NO hanging revs, He did a spectacular job on my tune. I previously had Toms tune and also had the cold start, hanging rev issues. My tune from Unique also has more low end and midrange power than the tune from Tom.

Well I placed the order for the car to be transported from the dealership to Idaho Falls where I live today. Only cost about $430 total. Figured that was a steal considering a plane ticket is approx $270 then gas and hotel for the trip home will be well over $150. If all goes well it should be here in less then 2 weeks

There was no 'nudging' my reservoir. And it has the two same screws that hold the fusebox, so it uses the same socket and extension. Just undid the two screws and laid it over a couple of inches...nothing major.

I live about a mile away from McNews I guess I'll have to email Ray and see what prices are for dyno tuning it.

You will definitely get more out of a custom tune once you do more modifications. Don't get me wrong though, a good tune can be a very good thing - especially with some of the tuning experts we have here. I had a Predator & custom tune, but I felt the money could have been better spent on other mods first. Later on down the road, I'm sure I will get another flasher, but I'll go with the SCT x3 this time.

Welcome to [FJ]!!
I just bought a used SVT engine to get mine back on the road while rebuilding my blown engine. It would be more work to revert to a standard Zetec 2.0 since the engine management would also need to be swapped over. The SVT has the unique dual-stage intake manifold and different valve timing (I believe) than the standard Zetec, so the engine management would be thrown off by...

figured i would clarify my problem a little more.
when i got to physically push the stick into gear it feels very rough.
it sticks going into the gear and feels very notchy. once i drive around and get everything up to temperature it kind of smooths out and doesn't feel so notchy but it doesn't feel like it did when i got the car 40k miles ago for sure.

Well, there is always not using it.
If you search there are some pics of a custom fabbed splash guard someone made.
There are the waterproof wraps as well.
I do not think there are any bypass valves that will work with the SVT. Because of where the intakes is routed, there is not enough room to use one.

Borla FTW!
I love the sound of mine and there is no better quality system in the world.
Coated headers look nice but then I like the look of a wrapped header and the wrap really does help keep temps down.

Not sure about the first 3, but from the P0113, it sounds like your IAT sensor is bad, which is odd b/c it should have thrown a CEL. Just curious, does the CEL come on when you have the key in the "ON" position, but the engine is not running?
Maybe try clearing them with the scanner or by disconnecting the battery and see if they come back.

if you are close id try going to mcnews and get a dyno tune.
im not sure on which tuner they use.
fswerks only does sct.
i personally have toms tune via predator.
i wish i had got a sct but the predator is really easy to understanf and read.
bigger screen but less updated with the times.
you will always get a little more out of the tune when dyno tuning it than a boxed up tune.

That is a normal noise, it almost sounds like a diesel truck. It's kinda embarrising, but a very normal noise with the aluminum flywheel.

dont go with Xios software get it dyno tuned by either McNews automotive here in PA or FSWerks a turbo kit will put your SVT to well over 300FWHP if you take care of it and put good pump gas in. There was a guy who blew his stock SVT at 386fwhp all he had was just a turbo kit and he ignored his saftey light and got a bad tank of gas.

I had my dealer do it for $250. I read that it can be a 3-5 hour job, but some have run into problems taking longer.
BTW, the symptoms you explained are exactly what I had.

Look for normal wear and tear items like the seatsm paint defects, brakes etc... Try to get any service records. You shoudl be able to contact the local ford dealer and have them run an Oasis (win check) to see if there are any open recalls on it.
Where is the car located? I saw an Orange on in Ohio that I am interested in, hope it isn't the same one....lol
