I would get it cleared and wax it often just to be safe...better to spend the extra time every week and wax it then have a nasty yellowed hood down the road

Get some smoked laminix film for your lights, I doubt you will be bothered by the police. Vinyl stripes can look good if done right, most people do not have the skill to do it correctly. Being that you are asking us for advice on this matter, then I would say have a reputable guy do it for you. As far as the hood scoop, they do not look cool on a focus.

I'm a bit foggy on my Focus history right now, but I believe that was a one-off concept from Ford just before the Focus RS was released in Europe.
Sine it's a one-off, a lot of things might have been custom-made (like the bumper).
Some stuff like the headlights and grille you can purchase from Europe, as they are European parts. Batinc.net should still sell them.

I really don't know what causes the glare in the halogen housings, but I'd be real interested to know if these actually did anything. Almost seems too easy or OEM's would have done it.

I had to cut the small tabs on the outside edge of either side. Then the rest just pop out with a few screwdrivers. Putting it back into the new one gave me no problems, it's still very secure.

Yeah its plastic, all you need to do is just scuff it with a scotch brite pad like a 750 grit and spray it with whatever color you want, personally matte black or gloos black looks best. Also i would leave the grills the way they are.

Probably the biggest cost is the paint and the body work required to fit
all the parts, especially the rear quarter panels since they are welded to
the car.

From what I've read carbon fiber just has to be waxed at least every 2 weeks. I'm anal so I'd do it every week.
