I might as well answer my own question, in case anyone else is interested in knowing how long for the MU miles to post in SM. My outbound flight from PVG posted three days after the flight. However, the inbound flight to PVG isn't posted yet after 11 days. I think the problem probably lies with my SM number. Very interesting! After receiving a PM from another flyertalker who had flown in a like-configured aircraft and felt row 39 was exactly the same as any standard Y seat, I double checked the seating chart on NWA.com -- as it turns out, it looks like they blocked out row 39 and moved us to row 37 (yuck!) -- I took davetravels advice and rearranged the seating to be 22D and 22F (exits)...

Due to issues with Delta.com I ended up booking PHX-MSP-YUL on NWA.com and YUL-JFK-ATL-PHX on Delta.com. Flew Saturday and Sunday. Miles and the loyalty bonus posted Tuesday. Looks like it's working the way it should at least some of the time.

I thought that service to EDI was cut? How can you fly there? I'm very interested to find out as I'm planning to fly there in September of 2010.

I spoke with a great BizPerks rep the other day from Minnesota and she said that the two programs were for sure going to be merged but not until 1st or 2nd quarter of 2010. Drink coupons I ordered recently were delta and expiry date on them was end of this year (I am not sure how many FA will watch that exact date though). One way upgrades on any class fare (NW only) will still apply as long as it is on NW metal ONLY. If there is a DL segment...

For WorldPerks members who registered and have been receiving the 5K/10K bonus miles pre merger (and whose Delta SkyMiles account had not been targeted), has anyone received them post merger for NWA flights booked on NWA.com with your WorldPerks number? Should targeted WorldPerks members who have registered keep their WorldPerks number in their reservation, or has the promo carried over to their Delta SkyMiles account?

anybody have any issues with getting the loyalty bonus credit for flights that included an american eagle flight as a connection?
