You wont get WP miles for that flight. You will need to change the frequent flier account to a Star Alliance Member account. Alternatively, you can fly Northwest (Delta) by using the BUMP program. Published (2009-10-30 15:46:00)
I opted for the SkyMiles AE card and have not received the 5000 EQM bonus I expected from my January-June WorldPerks Visa credit card expenditures. I called the Northwest soon-to-be-defunct elite service center. She referred me to a US Bank number. The US Bank representative told me that they had turned all their records over to Delta Sky Miles. So I called the Delta elite support number. The agent there asked me if I had tried calling...

NWA-Delta Glitch
Published (2009-10-30 02:52:00)
Today, I got into a small hassle at LAX with my NWA flight (623). Officially, it was a Delta ticket - but Delta would not recognize it from my Skymiles Number. The clerk asked me to pay $20 for a checked baggage. I told her that I have a platinum card and I had the same with NWA before it merged with Delta. Then she went to someone else came back with my boarding pass. I had a few other incidences in which I was not able to select my seats. I...

You could be right. I'm also worried about how they will convert to skybonus. The two programs are really quite different. A fairly substantial chunk of my bizperk points were earned on deeply discounted coach fares. Those same bottom buckets on DL (LUT) earn ZIPPO in skybonus.

The rules & terms have been rewritten for the merger. If you log on to your WorldPerks account and go to your E-Certs - click on the SWU certificate to read the rules & regulations. They've changed. I believe you are now able to book them on DL operated flights. As for honoring them...I have full expectation that DL will honor these ...

I got it too - I'm a former multi-year NW Plat (now a Gold due to my mid-year defection from NW/DL to UA) and haven't had a paid segment on them yet (though I did have 2 YX segments credit to them due to irregular ops on UA & being rebooked on YX).
