What's wrong with this plane?

My take is that it will depend how good your eyesight, reflexes, and PATIENCE are. At 72 you should be just fine in all these catagories. My Father is 76 and I think he is just as sharp now as he was at 50. Good luck and choose your CFI wisely. Make certain you are compatible before launching in to this. (I speak from a bad experience). My hats off to you!!

If not, I'd almost bet the instructor wouldn't even think about that. Not that he may have forgotten, but never was taught. I remember when Class B was called a TCA, and Class C (not to be confused with "Mode C") was called an ARSA. Talking to...

Thanks SOMEWHERE on AOPA's web site there is page for returning pilots and what's changed since you last flew....

I'm bored at work window shopping and ran across this one. Other than having higher than normal hours and probably being used as a trainer (it's owned by the University of North Dakota), why is this plane priced like it is? From the pictures, it looks to be immaculate - maybe I'm just off on what this plane is worth? Let's play find the problem. Man, I want my own plane so bad...

This is going to be a wee bit off topic but then on the other hand, it is on topic. For starters, this is the 12th wedding anniversary for my Wife and myself. Next, it is the 4th anniversary of a "fiasco" we had down in the Florida keys four years ago today.
Once you read this little story about what happened, you will see why I did not give up on flying last month and let the arrogant...

Ok, this is what we locals received at KMBO- FAA NOTAM flavor not released as of this posting but sure will be interesting.
Do I land on the runway Monday? If not Monday, what about Tuesday. Or is it the taxiway on Monday, and land on the runway Tuesday. Great, land on the runway, taxiway is closed, where do I go, oh where do I go? As one CFI told me at the flight school, just land ...

I'm currently flying VFR, so no tracking on FlightAware right now. I plan to start my intrument training in the not-so- distant future. So, when I do start, here's the plane I rent. Since I rent, I can't guarantee all listed flights will be mine, but I'm sure most of them will be. ...and YES , it is an IFR certified Cessna 152.
