Executive decision: Let's do it! It's dry right now (9am) despite what the forecast says, so I'm hoping it'll stay dry this afternoon. If it doesn't, then we'll find a bar or somewhere to hide out (and take some indoor shots) until it does :) See you all at Rebas Cafe at 2pm - if you're late, call me (647-388-5356) and we'll let you know where we are so you can catch up.

You might want to look at Camera Traders in Victoria. I've never bought anything big from them, but I've been there in person many times, and they seem to know their stuff, and the prices seem fair (given that they have a retail space to maintain) camera-traders.com/

www.apug.org/forums/forum51/29492-mamiya-c220-c330.html The c220 is simpler and slightly lighter. Because the c330 winder has tot cock the shutter there is a slight increase in failure rates for the c330 film winder mechanism. The screen for the c330 because it incorporates a Fresnel lens (has it's plus and minuses) is brighter then the c220 which is in turn brighter then the yashicas. I have no problem using the c220 in low light....

The only thing I don't like is when some site which is purely commercial uses something to drive traffic; like a couple of Toronto search engines which seem to be nothing more than Google hit accumulators. Basically if someone is making money from it then I would like some of that money please and thank you.

You have to narrow it down a bit: Toy cameras like a holga and lomo - inexpensive simple can be brought new, easy to operate, easy to break, build quality and optically poor which is the main reason people seem to like them. They are also called backer board. It's not the type of thing you're going to find listed on their website. It's kind of like 2x4's...those aren't listed either. You can also try Downtown Lumber. To find out if specific store locations for any of those retailers carry it you'll need to call them and ask to check for stock.
