Hey Karen... you are right... "normal variations in weather" that's the whole point!... My God what is wrong with these people? Somehow "saving the earth" has become a religion that requires no facts. There is absolutely no evidence that the earth needs saving yet they blather on.... simply amazing. COLDER... you are killing me here... now the earth is in danger of "...

Please don't try to complicate simple measurements of temperature. The AP is a terrible source. They have starry-eyed reporters who are also on a silly mission to "save the planet." The earth is not warming...let it go and go on to something else.

your next to the last sentence, yes, "something has to be done". And we flickrites have the unique opportunity of discussing, documenting, asking about solutions, sharing examples. This is the next step. If "WE" all contribute, maybe the worst can be avoided. And via photographing we can document what is happening, on whatever level. It's important to explain the connection, however ...

Debunking CO2 Myths and The Science of Climate Change There are a number of myths about CO2 that continue to circulate despite scientific evidence to the contrary. These myths are often perpetuated by the uninformed or those with an agenda to protect non-sustainable corporate interests. With the aim of exposing some of the major fallacies here is quick summary of the science debunking...

How long can folks hang onto a beleif (with such misplaced passion) that has been proven just plain wrong? In case anyone missed it... there is no global warming! Why are most "leaders" in environmentalist groups non-scientists? I suspect a high percentage of degrees in the "Arts" are present in those groups. That would explain a lot of the silliness. Why the change ...

My gosh. How can so many intellegent people disregard the facts? There is No evidence of unusual climate activity. As amatter of fact this has been the calmest year in some time! There is plenty of evidence that global warming is not happening... real evidence... cold hard numbers. (I suppose that is the reason the term 'global warming' was thrown out and "climate change" took ...
