I've experienced the same thing - and my photos don't show up in site searches - have contacted Flickr help, and they haven't had any response except to suggest that I log off to do a search -

I have nothing against bokeh, or artistic picture names, but I do get tired of seeing the same old pictures on Explore. I'm not too crazy about the purple tint either...

After I sign in, Flickr reverts to the previous page, so I have to do the whole thing twice or three times.

My personal theory is that people will look at interesting images but will be less likely to comment if they don't have some existing relationship with the poster (contact list, comment required group member, etc)....

Under every post you'll see a permalink - you could copy that and paste it into a text document or, alternatively, bookmark every post you make. In the help forum you can check topics you've posted in but this functionality does not exist for groups. Here's the link for the topic in FlickrIdeas .

What, exactly, do you think is strange? That they don't use Flickr like you do? There is nothing wrong with that behaviour. Why would there be?

-Add your photos to a lot of groups (and even that's not a guarantee). -Be on many people's contact list. -Make a story with your titles and descriptions. -Pictures of women and girly things get more attention (unfair but true). -Bokeh!!
