this is probably really easy to do and im just being dumb but......... ive tried to upload photos in my comments by uploading them on too flickr and then copy and pasting the HTML into the comments of another photo and then i delete the photos from my stream that i posted into the comments because that kind of defeats the point. Then i comeback in a few days and where i posted the photos in to the comments and it says this photo can not be...

you didn't post the pic, you posted a link to the pic. it only exists as a file in one place, so you need to leave it in your stream to display it anywhere else, including sets, groups, etc. if it's not in the stream, it does not exist.
