I'm fulltiming in a year round RV park in Ohio. I have a four season trailer, so it should work. My job moved me here from Texas, but for now my family is still there. There's room for me here, but my wife wonders whether she could survive in such a small space, sharing it with me. I've committed to stay for a year, so I should experience all of the weather they have here. I have my heated hose plugged in, but still need to...

QUOTE (Sharon G @ Nov 21 2009, 06:23 AM) Joe and Melanie, I wish you all the very best in your new home. Your fulltime adventures entertained and inspired me, and I'm so glad that you shared them with us. But, seasons change, and circumstances change. I'm glad you lived your dream, and I'm happy that your dream is continuing, although it's taking a new direction. But, if the snow gets too deep, hop in that...

26 months total. The first 14 were spent with lots of travel. After we picked up our Casita in 2005, from Rice, Texas went up to the Northeast (running from first KATRINA and then OPHELIA), down to Texas again, two months in San Marcos, up to Big Bend, the Southwest, Death Valley, California, back across up North and into Canada. Many places, many people. We had planned on the Casita ...

QUOTE (Michael M @ Dec 15 2007, 11:48 PM) I gather a lot of couples do this, and single men. But it takes moxy for single women to go 'round full timing, right? Just curious. Here is a story about one. http://www.rvwest.com/features/nov/fulltimervlivin g.html

Gina, Are you going to put the new solar panel(s) on the roof, or use a free-standing rack like you were before? I remember seeing in a previous post that you had upgraded, but I can't remember how you installed the new system. It seems like you'd get plenty of sun on the roof if you'll be in the Quartzsite area. It will be good to learn how the water and waste toting works out in actual...

Hi Monica - thanx for posting the link to your blog. Enjoyed reading about your first days on the road - you certainly had some interesting adventures your first few days in Texas. We look forward to visiting the SKP headquarters in Livingston one day too. We are still learning, even after 3 years, but the 'learning curve' is leveling out a bit now. Keep up the posting and have TONS...
