QUOTE (Ed Harris @ Dec 2 2009, 07:12 PM) Amy I thought y first Trill was the only rig with that color inside!?! Boler had quite a few "fun" interior colors in the '70's I've seen light yellow, deep yellow (gold like corn), olive green (lower parts only), and orange-orange. But, I agree, I haven't seen the pumpkin/squash orange (which is kind of a goldish orange) like the...

Mine is more of a yellowish orange than the orange-orange. Sort of a cross between the squash and orange. I love it.

QUOTE (Donna D. @ Dec 2 2009, 07:00 PM) We'd rather encourage discussion rather than squash it, right? Absolutely!! The links help people add to threads that already are on-topic. For those links where the info was a post or two in a thread on a different topic, it encourages people to cite those posts as appropriate.

Penny, I used an air-carry tank, opened the valves for my hot water lines, slowly open the valve on the carry tank slowly and blew them out with one tank of air, closed the hot water valves, refilled the air carry tank, opened the cold water valves, and blew them out the same way. When all is said and done I leave all the valves wide open. Water pumps all have to be able to run dry now and then, so running yours dry for a minute or so will...

QUOTE (Raya L. @ Nov 29 2009, 05:30 PM) The "pink stuff" I've used has all come in gallon jugs and already been at its -50 concentration. I guess I never thought to dilute it (I think they mean for you to use it as-is). Raya I think so. But I think you could cut it 50/50 in the PNW. I noticed when I put mine in, it was sort of thick like Jello. Any guarantee would probably only be for the price of the...

Roger your funnel idea is how we get water into our trailer! I 'invented' a T funnel on a trip where we had to pour water in - and it worked so well we have used it many times. I acutally took a second bottle and inserted it into the hole cut in the side of the first so there is a nice tall pour spout to pour into - the "T" funnel! Mike says I should 'patent' it! Penney

Well Parker, I sincerely hope to be 'out there' with you soon, too, and already have a February trip to Tucson planned. IF I can get the lil egg road worthy, that is... I'm delighted to hear you've at least visited the beautiful southern area of Idaho. However, and I freely admit I am biased, the truly breathtaking parts are way up here in the north, in the panhandle. If I had to pick just one single thing, magnificent...

My good trailer buddy, in Florida, asked me to post this. It's for others that might've been dissatisfied with the caps which SCAMP currently sells. He said he was very disappointed with the product that Scamp sells and thought this might be an alternative option. I wonder if anyone bought from this place and tried them out. Hi Amy, If you have the "usual" small jalousie windows over the stove and in the door, then yes, I believe those two gaskets are the ones you want. This photo shows a typical (Hehr brand, I believe) door window. You can see the backframe gasket. It slips on before the window is re-installed, and takes the place of any sealant (so, no butyl needed on these windows, although possibly you ...

Here is a link to an older post that has some good information on Fiber Streams (posted by Frederick, in fact ). The meat of it starts at around post #23. http://www.fiberglassrv.com/board/index.ph...18077 &st=15 I don't think they were connected with Airstream, but I don't now that for sure.

I find I use my hot water heater a lot. Makes washing dishes and my face fast and easy. I don't have the figure on weight of these items, but I never tow the trailer with water on board. The hot water heater is empty and gets filled at the destination. Water weighs 8.35 lb per gallon. If you have a six gallon hot water heater filled, that alone is right at 50 lbs. Add that to whatever you ...
