Witty- they arent KICKS... they are just movements. I dont know where there is a head or a foot or an arm or a twist or turn or anything! The other day I had my starbucks (which was a first while pregnant, to have a real starbucks) Because my BP cant handle that much caffeine, but it was free-- who can pass it up anyway, i got 2 somethings sooo strong and so fierce they tickled!! Like tickled!!!! Full on tickled, i giggled out loud and told...

Ontario- the candy is right either mixed right in w/ the candy or by the artificial sweeteners, but yes they have it. I get it for DH. They also make sugar free cough drops too now. I hope your father is ok, keep us updated.

Thank goodness! I'm watching it come down now. I just finished wrapping my Christmas presents, while watching the snow outside and with the fireplace going! I nice day indeed. And I woke up this morning to Santa Claus coming down my street, ho-ho-hoing and dancing on a fire truck. It's a tradition in my town that the last Saturday before Christmas, Santa comes around to wave to the kids and plays Christmas music over a speaker. This...

Oh Lindsey I hope you don't catch it! My coworker had swine flu a week and a half ago, so I know how you feel! I survived without getting sick (knock on wood). I hope you have the same luck!

MJ, oh, so when people say their baby kicked, they mean a body part bumped out. My flutters from Adam tickle too and some times he catches me off gaurd. Want, that's funny. This morning I looked at my belly and it was the wierdest shape ever. some body part was poking out right behind the belly button almost cone shape and another lump - I mean a big lump top right of my belly button. I can't wait until dh can see the babies moving...

Great story Goat! We always had Santa come by on a firetruck throwing candy canes as kids. Was so excited to see him in my new neighborhood last year Ontario, I always see the sugar free candy on the regular candy aisle.

MJ - Are you feeling any better today? Maybe you just caught a 24-hour bug and it's not the start of late m/s! You don't want this, believe me! (And this is coming from a girl who begged for it!) Chantal - Yikes! Poor DD - I'm glad she's ok! Those aren't the kind of milestones you need! But she will probably be excited to get a big girl bed! Lola - I'm glad your scan went well, too! Do you have a picture to share?...

How to calculate how many weeks pregnant I am after IVF?
Do you use the day of ER as day 1 of pregnancy, since that was when the egg was fertilized? Do you use the first day of your last period? Or do you use 15 days prior to your ER, which is what this website claims:

Finally off PIO- How do I get rid of the lumps?
Hi ladies,
I had my last PIO injection yesterday morning and, while nervous about not having the extra support, I'm thrilled to finally be done! I was wondering if any of you have suggestions re: how to get rid of the lumps left behind. I've been laying on a heating pad, which ...

Anyone else freaked out by the news???
I have been watching the story of the Ohio family that had the wrong embroyo transfered. It has me really stressed out, nightmares of people taking out son away etc. I don't know if it because we live in the same town as those people (thank god not the same clinic). My husband even asked ...

I haven't experienced it myself, but I do know that mild bleeding in early pregnancy is not uncommon. Many women on these forums have had spotting throughout their first trimester. I would definitely call your doctor's office though in case he/she wants to check you out. Good luck!

I was worried about the same thing but as long as you are not bleeding I am sure you are fine. I am about 8 1/2 weeks and have no symptoms but a belly starting to show and we saw the HB last week so it gave a huge sense of relief. I have spoken with friends that have gone through IVF and they haven't had symptoms either.

Hi there,
I have a story to share about that because I'm currently going through it right now and am very scared. After years of infertility, testing, surgeries, meds, failed IUI cycles we tried IVF. We were blessed with a positive pregnancy test in 9/07 and gave birth to a healthy baby boy 4/2008. We didn't end up with any frozen embryos so we knew that we would need to start over if we ...
