Let me ask you this Bert, if Windows is so terrible then why are all these people not flocking to Mac or Linux? People realize there are alternatives, it is not like many do not understand this now. But yet they stay with Windows. Maybe it is not as bad as you are led to believe?

As for me, I'm high on the real thing. Caffeine, nicotine, and self help books. And, on that note folks, I think that as this is going off topic, and degenerating into something not good, so I'm going to close it.

Well the RAZR was known to have a weak hinge. Battery cover likes to come off easily. The whole phone is too flexy. Depends on how you use it and take care of it I guess. I still like how thin the phone is and the keypad is outstanding.

That's odd. I actually expected to see a lot of install issues like this, yet I haven't had a single app fail to install on my Win7 install (including some XP-era games that have certainly not been specifically patched to run on Windows 7). Maybe I've lucked out, but I've actually been pleasantly surprised by the lack of these issues. Knock on wood.
Hard to say whether it's the fault of ...

In the US, I think Dell is probably the only one now.
I've had good luck with the Asus 1000HE, as well as the Acer Aspire one, but I prefer the Asus.
Not sure how much performance you're seeking from the processor.
The 1000HE has, I think, been replaced by the 1005HA. There are two versions, I believe, one with a long battery life.

95% of the manuals are prepared by a small overseas company named "To English The Appliance Manuals We Translating". They produced this famous document:

For starters you might at least mention the country if not the specific city. I would imagine 25 amp would be high in an apartment but you could always just swap out the breaker yourself.

I think what it's referring to is Active Protection System :

With the new series of ThinkPads IBM introduced the Active Protection System (APS) in 2003. The APS is a protection system for the ThinkPad's internal harddrive. A sensor inside the ThinkPad recognizes when the notebook is accelerated. A software applet then is triggered to park the harddisk. This ...

This phone looks like the best specked Android phone so far. I will have to wait a bit before deciding if it overcomes some of the problems I see in all previous Android phones so far. I was very excited about Android at one point as well, but when I started looking into Maemo I found that it beats Android hands down where it matters, and that it is able to give me all I was looking for and ...

This is a serious longshot, but I guess it depends if it's a hardware or software limitation.
You could try partitioning the 2gb so it has just a single 1gb partition (at the start), and leave the rest unallocated.
I'd give that maybe a 1% chance of working though.

Don't know if there's a hardened version of Fedora. I suspect not. I'm also not expert in security. I might know enough to get by in a general sense but I think if I were to undertake extreme security measures I'd start by turning off everything (services, etc) and start opening only the ones that are absolutely needed, one by one. As I did so I'd make sure each was as secure as could be. That ...
