Need MySQL extension in OpenOffice
Published (2009-11-08 20:41:00)
Perhaps GoOo has the required extensions ? Or might be compatible/work with the plug-in that you mentioned ?? http://go-oo.org/download/ and see "Universal Linux". A YUM repo is available for maximum convenience. Note that you will first have to remove your "stock" OOorg stuff. I have not searched their repos to see if the MySQL stuff is in there, but I use the basic GoOo suite, and it works... adequately....

I agree in a way, this should not have been an issue in the first place, oh and now I notice nautilus acting somewhat weird. Oh, well, there are plenty more distros in the web.

I've searched and searched for a solution to this and cannot find one. I've installed phpMyAdmin on Fedora 11 using YUM. I've also got MySQL 5 latest and PHP 5 latest installed using YUM. My Apache server document root is var/www/html/ and I can go to http://localhost/path/to/file to view my php files. MySQL has root user configured (as far as I can tell) and I have set the password for the...

obviously you are missing one of the requirements for that plugin
http://wiki.eclipse.org/WTP_FAQ#How_do_I_install_W TP.3F
in that page you can see what WTP requires to be installed.... look for the one you don't have in your current instalation and see if it works

By the way, it integrates well into the desktop, and it is embeddable in Firefox via mozplugger. Evince fails to be embedded in Firefox in Fedora 12 in some sites.

As one who answered (with equal aggravation about it), you might see if you have htmlviewer installed. If so, just rename it to something. You can delete it, actually, it takes system-config-network with it, <shrug>, or just remove it with rpm -e --nodeps htmlviewer. I haven't had to configure my network since doing that, so don't know if they're lying about the dependency, but I suspect they ...

Why are there TWO "Device" and "Screen" sections ??? Remove the first of each.
Try these edits (re-start of X11 required):
Code:
Section "Files"

ModulePath "/usr/lib64/xorg/modules/extensions" # give NVidia a no-brainer road map...
ModulePath "/usr/lib64/xorg/modules"
EndSection

That Alfresco looks interesting.
Nothing to do with the swftools problem but maybe you would have better luck running this on Centos? I'll bet there is different version of gcc, gcc-c++ in Centos that might play nicer with the compiling?
Just a thought,
Good Luck, and Thank You for pointing up Alfresco,

Do you feel sure to go on internet trough WINE? Isn't a failure in the security box ? I prefer use Wine only for local applications. What do you think about?

Hi,
If you're looking for a Linux utility to generate RAR files (whether in several instalments or not), it is unlikely that you'll find one, 'cause RAR is a proprietary format and the patent holder explicitly forbids to generate RAR files without using WinRAR, which is available for windoze only
P.S. One possible solution is to buy WinRAR and install it under wine (winehq), at the price ...
