Thanks Kebab. I didn't think it was a good idea. It's just that there was a fazer on ebay that had new Stradas fitted. I didn't get a chance to go
for it in the end. I'm after a 02/03 600 as my last 2 fazers have been T-boned and
written-off. Cheers.

I had storms
last winter, and they were a fantastic tyre in the wet and slippery conditions, I fitted Metzler Z6's at the beginning of summer and have been
regretting it ever since, still only another 1500 miles left in my back Z6 before i can try on a pair of new Storm 2's

I put 021 rear on an FZS600 2500 miles ago and same story squared off but loads of tread on the edge. I went to Assen in June with it which was about
1000
miles all in and it was pretty much straight motorway but it's supposed to be a touring tyre for feck sake. And the front arrrrrrghhhh, what a noise and it
was only replaced 2000 miles ago, can't wait till it wears out so I can replace it with ...

Apparently this is an
undocumented feature of these tyres. I've just had a pair fitted and hadn't notice anything with the recent blustery weather,
until I was pulling into the car park at work on Friday. I can only describe it as a droning from the front tyre.

and they wear brilliantly, however they are
not rated for fazers and if they want to be an arse insurance will be invalidated in event of an accident.
But you'd be really unlucky to get caught out!

On the FZS600 I found the Michelin Pilot Road 2 pretty good - better than Bridgestone BT020 and maybe a bit better than
Metzler Z6.
Might not be the best value i.e. miles per £, if this what you are really after you might be better off looking at Continentals or Maxxis. Have a look at what
couriers use as they tend to go for the cheapest overall.
