That is incredible Has this had a feature in Streetfighters mag? If not, send it in fella Why the FZ6 though? to spend that kind of dough on a 600 does seem strange, but hey it's certainly unique and sure aint lacking in the power dept! Good job.

Personally I don't like the single pipe. Everyone has it, the twin Akros on mine look wicked and come across a lot more agressive than the Honda pipe with those two little holes

The tail is a bit wide to make a single pipe on the back really look good, I mean I think on one of the Ducati's(or was it a Triumph) they have a single pipe that would probably fit and be about the right size, but its ugly on the original bike let alone anything else! Still trying to recall what bike it was that had it, followed one along Victoria rode for about 10 minutes one day.

Ok. Have been messing with the bracket for the last few days. Going to bracket the top of it to the tripple. No ugly fork clamps for me. Bead blasted it today and going to have the tab welded so it won't twist. Then it will get powder coated along with the tripple.

I love 'em! I just finished converting my 2008 to the coveted "N" version. Just wanted to say thanks to this forum for providing a wealth of knowledge on how to get this done. The most time consuming part of the conversion, besides waiting for parts, was rewiring the harness to get the low/high beam working on a single headlight (the BD43 (bd43's 07 Headlight Mod Part 2) ...

BD43's headlight conversion/ Going Naked I recently added the headlight conversion to my 2006, I was wondering when I go naked is there anything I have to worry about if I go with the FZ1 headlight set-up. Sorry if this has been asked already but I didn't see anything here on it....

There are a few options out there that come with mounting brackets... the Buell setup does, or the FZ1 kit... wrightme43's dual headlight setup as well I believe. Soldering? you mean welding? FZ1-Forum
