I love modding my bike for loads of reasons: I like tinkering with it anyway, there are some things stock that weren't good enough for me, I like thinking that I've made the bike my own, I like to think there isn't another FZ6 like mine and I also like people stopping and looking at it and asking me questions about it (mainly "is than a Fazer mate? I'm not sure!"). Mine definitely is louder than stock,...

Is the pad you show laying on the seat after the mod, the same type of material you added to the seat? You stayed with the OEM foam as the base material?

guess the other thing to point out is that his are 8000k lights. doesn't seem to offer other colors. but i would assume that is easily changed by going and getting new bulbs.

Looks great, much more stylish and modern than the older box style swingarm. Is it the same length as the old one?

Keep looking at my pictures and yours. Can't figure out why you had to space them out further. Sorry to hear it gave you such a rough time. It does look sharp, though.

Re: Clip-Ons and Triple Clamps
Thats basically it, I thought about using bondo on the holes and then painting it back that glittery color but I decided it doesnt look that bad as it is... for my taste. Total project time: four hours.

I had Oberon bar ends for a while and have an Oberon cylindrical tax disc holder. They are all really sturdy bits of kit. I picked them up from the factory and went round playing with their other stuff and was really impressed with the build-quality/strength of it all. I'm not sure how bright the LEDs will be, but the actual indicators will be solid mate.

Yeah that's right. I had the silver sprocket and it had the same 435-48 markings. The black looks good.

This is cool.
Just so I understand, these projector units are 'plug & play'? You don't need to mod anything in the headlight housing or remove the headlight lenses on the bike? They jsut plug into the bulb socket on the bike?
Couldn't you remove the H7 socket and re-wire and replace it with an H4 socket so you can have the 2nd projector?
Sorry, not overly familiar with...

i haven't found any options on fairings i don't know if you can swap and put the 07-up fairing on them or do the naked look. i havn't even been able to find a race fairing in the states i know there is a company that makes them for the fz cup in auzzie. as for the turn signal i'd check the bulb first off, if you went down with the filliment hot its very possible that you just blew the bulb

Re: Rear Tire Cowl?

Be very carefull here ...some clearcoats will react with the vinyl... It's happened to me in the past . If you have a spare decal apply your selected clear onto it and check for compatibility...Most vinyl decals now a days hold up very well to wear and fadeing...just to note most lacquer based clears will have a negative effect... Good Luck...Daryl
