Well after much drama, the bike is back together and lights are in and working I think my problems were a bad ground on the h7 side. And not understanding what goes where. Velcro'ed the ballast and relays, with some industrial stuff, hopefully that stays. Most connections were soldered and wrapped. I took the extra connections from the kit parts to make the connection cables between the h4 and h7. I didn't need to keep the factory...

It's probably a good thing that you don't go 140 regularly Take-offs and getting up to speed are much quicker now, no? Best bang for the buck performance mod on this bike you can make IMHO - $30 max!

I tried running mine without them in,they are obnoxiously loud, with them in, they are still loud! Honestly, running without the db killers draws the wrong kind of attention. There is no comparison to stock pipes, Leo's are a massive improvement in sound and performance.

They jsut plug into the bulb socket on the bike? Couldn't you remove the H7 socket and re-wire and replace it with an H4 socket so you can have the 2nd projector? Sorry, not overly familiar with...

I installed the Targa kit. It is compact, but you can still see the rear lights easily. The number plate is tucked up high, plus it comes with a LED strip light, therefore you don't need to use the OEM stock bulky unit. I am very happy with it. Search for it on ebay......

DIY! You can use VHT tint spray, or take it to a place that does it. I (and several others) have cut it down and sprayed (the inside) black. Looks killer, and it really helps with the weird turbulance felt behind the screen. Tint film will not work as it does not stick to plastic.

to answer the question on your pic... yes. you will take off the hard plastic "ring" and push the signals through. the rubber ends are tough to get through but can be done. once they are through you put the plastic "rings" back on to hold the blinkers secure to the fairing. hope that helps.
