well glad you got it figured out ;) wiring can be tedious. like sometimes when i install a alarm system i have to sit back for a min or go out to eat and come back to it because all the wires start looking the same.LOL

haha...that kind of goes without saying. there's a few duramax for sale around here so i've been doing a little shopping around. i'm sort of planning to buy one within the next few months, but i go back and forth about whether or not I want to take on the payments.

I also responded on GMFS but here is the same thing... There are 2 diff kinds that I know about. 1. The center of the clear plastic lens has a star looking indention on it and you turn it with a small flathead screwdriver. 2. There is a notch on the edge of the clear plastic lens that you can get a small flathead or knife blade into and pry the lens off carefully. (This is what I have)

Ok guys, sorry about the extremely late update. I have just been very busy with work and school, and have not even had time to work on the truck lately. So yeah, it's the fuel lines. Even just wiggling them around a little bit has drastically reduced the droning noise. It's still there, but this gives me the confidence I need to get the problem permanently fixed. I wiggled and jiggled them ...

This is a 1996 tahoe I found on sporttruck with 04 escalade seats in it. You cant really see the bottom of the seat where the bracket is or even a good shot off the seats but these are definatley 04 seats in a 96 tahoe.

There are 4 bolts on a bench seat and there are 8 on a 60/40 split. Now the 4 that are there now will line up and there will be dimples in the sheet metal where the other 4 go. Drill those out and put some grade 8 bolts though the holes along with some nuts and washers if there was not already a seat mount there from from the factory.

you will need to pull the carpet and drill out the dimples on the floor the bench mounts diff than the buckets. then add bolts and nuts.

The mat will stop panels from resonating, if you want to stop rattles from interior parts as well then put a layer of ensolite over the raamat
