If this situation is real, it could become hard for her to even stand on the podium, with a medal of any color. The JSF needs to do something to save her career.

OH NO. This is horrible. Poor Mao I knew this part-time coaching thing with Tatiana was silly. She doesn't even seem to be fully committed to her like she was with Yagudin, Kulik. Why won't the JSF do something about this? And I agree with icealisa, some part of me thinks that Mao is also too stubborn to do anything about this. Being a Mao-fan this is frustrating. She needs a US coach. Frank Carroll would be excellent! Maybe when...

Yes Isabelle has great taste in dresses finding her inspiration from Marie-France Dubreuil's "Somewhere in Time" and "At Last" dresses. I am glad to see a thread appreciating and DelShoes and their GGITS FD. I have the GPF version on tape and it's still a beautiful FD. I agree it's a shame that icedance is treated differently by the judges than the other three disciplines. GGITS would have...

I have a question to those who have been fans of the sport well before the implementation of COP. Video files we can find from the pre-COP era on Youtube are pretty much performances by the best skaters of their times; the video files would not have found their ways to 2009 Youtube if they weren't. In the mean time, video clips from ...

Oh because the judges didn't have a correct understanding of PCS at the time? I guess that is a good reason to abandon actual programs and a great reason to keep practicing more and more difficult jumps. Silly me.

I think if Joannie skates a clean SP, Yu-Na skates a clean SP and Mao continues to have jumps issues then I think Joannie will most likely finish second in the SP. I do agree that her score won't be that far below what Yu-Na receives. There definitely won't be a 30 point difference between Joannie and Yu-Na should the above scenario come to pass.
If both Yu-Na and Mao have issues in the SP (...
