Good mature decision. If she wants to get one ratified before she retires, make it your goal for next year or Worlds this year. She's been close enough in the past where I think maybe it could happen later on if it's that important to her. She's being smart and serious about this season. With a lot more miles and polish in her programs, I think she will be the wildcard skater at the Olympics

It is good Ashley is confident but given her history I concur with previous posters it is best she lets her skating do the talking at the upcoming big events rather than have her mouth doing it somewhat already. Also while I have no problem her aspiring to be the top American, if she believes she is already viewed as that she is mistaken. I am pretty sure even the USFSA now considers Flatt the #1 American and Wagner at best #2 for now.

Wow, two really amazing skates for Beata. With 3toe and 3sal that consistent, she's easily gonna be Finland's 4th senior lady next season (3rd if Susanna retires). Bela's not making much progress on the jumps sadly. Both programs look like a total mess for Nurmenkari. :/

I don't think she has the right coach, but there is more to it than that. Her jumping technique has always been suspect. She could benefit from time to change and remedy the high kick and under rotations.
However, for any of this to help she has to have the right attitude. I realize that she is a teenager and it was very hard for her to do what she thought was a good job only to get a low ...

Samuelson & Bates will get it IMO. I would be happy if Navarro & Bommentre got it but I think the USFSA is looking towards the future already. Chock & Zuerlein I even think are more likely to get it than N&B.

YLE sports news interviewed Laura Lepistö yesterday . A lovely and very professional interview, yet again. She really knows how to place her words and keep it calm.
She admits that the episode with her rink and constant driving between different practice places has been a bit tiring but nothing overly dramatic.
Also she's had slight back problems which have caused her to do some ...

MR-FAN i created a new thread about this but i guess you beat me to it!
i just watched the Ukrainians FS and Tracy did indeed mention that! However this is not surprising to me. In fact i was more surprised than anything when I first saw their new program was to "you'll never walk alone." So this new change is kind of expected.
