when you accelerate you need more fuel pressure. if the pump is unable to supply the pressure and volume the pressure will drop.

Yep search in advanced. Click on the noobie section, 80-96, and the tech write up section. You hold down CTRL to select multiple sections.

Yup its a twist type...they do make a tool for it, but its not needed...it was just stuck is all. The haynes manual is kinda off, mine is for the 80-89 and it mentions to remove the whole assembly. Guess mine is just different, twisted out with a LOT of effort. Thanks for the replys..

Very bad to drive on front wheeel could freeze up and you could crash or it could break, and tire fall off.

If the '89 setup is similar to the 1992-1996 models, then there should be a couple of nuts you have to loosen toward the bottom, holding the assembly to the header panel and core support. I think they were 10mm hexes, IIRC.

According to this , what you have breaks down like this: E7 T F 17C475 - CA 1987 Truck Source: Engine Engineering; Powertrain and Chassis product Engineering Base Part Number 17C475 Design Change EDIT: Wait...if it was the PCM, it would have a hell of alot more wires than 6 coming out of it, wouldn't it? Any chance that's the ABS computer? SECOND EDIT: Alright, spent the last hour researching, and I think I'm getting close to...

Kinda, i didnt really think of it as a grille gaurd, just something that holds that lights, it probably would protect the grille but the lights would be toast. I like the bumper idea, but mine is tweaked and idk if it would sit/look right. I mean I could straighten it but dont really feally like fawking it up even worse. I would like to see your idea too, mine is real basic and hopefully would serve it's purpose. I think just have that...

Have a shop evacuate it for you. Then tear all that stuff out. As long as you have heater core and blower motor at the firewall your defrost will work and you'll have heat :)

Try running a solid jumper wire to the battery for your ground. If this doesn't fix it I'd say your pulling to much amps from your alt.

Occasionally when I will be braking up to a traffic light, my idle will start to dip down low and then rev back up over and over, making the truck want to lurch forward. I can put it in park and it will eventually stop. I have replaced the alternator, idle control sensor and I am replacing the throttle position sensor tomorrow...could this fix my problem? I searched but did not find what I was looking for. I need to know what the secondary filter is under the main air filter. I changed the main air filter and found this "secondary" filter under it. What is the purpose of this filter. I own a '95 bronco xlt with a 351. I will try to get some pictures tonight or in the morning to help show what I am talking about. Anyone know what this is.

6,000 wow i can buy those here all day for between 2,000 and 3,500 ,better very nice! and very low miles. weak links are tranny and u-joints plus depending on mileage you can have a variety of issues, i would take it to a shop and pay for a pre-vehilce purchase inspection, if the dealership says no. DONT buy it they are hiding something. plus california smog laws suck arse badly lol.

I have a 302 in my 95. Its ok on pick up. I've never driven a 351 in a bronco but I can say this. Get a bronco with a 351. More power and tq. And its been said on this forum many times, a 351 can get the same if not better mileage as a 302.

Ford bronco wheeling. - 24 new posts
Started 1 week ago (2009-11-20 14:27:00)  by eric.daniel.clark
Hey guys, I'm doing a research paper about bronco's for my senior project and I was just wondering if you guys could tell me how well your bronco's do off-road and in the mud and such. For a section of the paper I have to talk about how bronco's do off-road and such. Mine does pretty well but I need some more feedback. I would really appreciate your help.

Horn not working - 23 new posts
Started 5 days, 15 hours ago (2009-11-22 15:22:00)  by fartman
Horn not working So the horn died on my bronco. I went and bought a replacement and hooked it up and nothing. So I thought maybe is was a bad horn and I went back and got a second and still nothing. I have power to the terminals when I test with a light, when my son pushes on the horn pad on the wheel. What can it be?...
