Did you backprobe the TP connector to verify that the TP line voltage at idle (and the whole range of throttle movement) is correct? IF AODs follow the same scheme as the E4OD the line closest to the rear is the return. So my vote for the pressure line is the one nearest the front.

i've checked all the junk yards in my area and can't find a rear bumper for my 84 FSB...anyone live in the NJ area and know of a good yard that might have one?

Put a Buick V-6 in her, some running gear from a '74 Blazer, dark blue seats from a Yugo, a fuel tank from an Alfa GTV, dash knobs from a 1963 Metropolitan and paint it Porsche mustard yellow.
