Do Bigger Tires Require Alignment?

Write-up: Auto Spring 2.5"...

I just installed a 2" Auto Spring on "drew622"s Super Crew. He ordered a 2.5", but I am pretty sure they sent him the 2" spacers, which is a good thing because it sits perfectly level. It is at the alignment shop as we speak, and then he is taking it in to the tire shop for some 33" BFG ATs. Andrew, thanks again for the business!.....and the bagels!

if you are only gonna run 33's then just do a 2" leveling kit. if you want to run a suspension lift run either Fabtech or BDS.

4" lift Vs. 6" Lift

you can run 35s with just a level kit, and IMHO I think that 150s with level kits and 35s look pretty slick... and the ones with 33s look slick too, just don't sit as high. So here's what you're looking at: You can do the 4", that would look great! But to look proportional, you will want 35s. I had a 3" level kit and stock 275/55/20s and they looked really small (just fyi I had a teammate who ran the same level kit...

got a pic?
also i might not be 100% positive, but are you sure it is for your exact truck?
there could be some slight differences b/w the 97/98 through the 99/03's.

I've had it for almost two years now. Great lift and I'd choose it again. I had a 2.5" leveling kit and after I had a torn cv boot I decided to take it off and get the Rancho. I installed it and think it is a very strong lift, I really like the one piece subframe design. I got mine on sale at 4wheelparts.com for $1,800 which included the shocks. I'm running 35's with mine, but another reason I ...

You could straighten them out if you wanted to. As long as they are on there for the most part it should not really hurt anything. I would straighten them just for a peace of mind though. Mine were the same way, but I just loosened the U bolts and then pushed them back in and tightened it all back up

Im not sure if you have or not, but you should change the angle of your headlights due to the lift. With the front end being that much higher and also not pointed down like a stock truck without levelling kit is the lights are not pointing directly in the eyes of other drivers making it very difficult to see. As far as the fog lights go, i flash people with fog lights on because they make it a...

lifted? lowered? stock?
are you still going to tow with it?
ride quality will be determined on what you run with coils/coilovers/shocks/valving/spring rate. The link aspect really wont change the ride that much.
