Well, I made it through the hike and as the others posted it was strenous. Day 1- We (my friend and I) made it to Daewonsa at about 7:30 in the morning after taking the bus from Jinju at 6:30 AM. It took us about an hour to make it to the trailhead at Yunpeopng Village, because we had to buy some last minute food. From the trailhead, we hiked to Chibanmok Shelter which is 6.2km. It took us nearly four hours and it really tested me. It's...

It's always Japanese-style food here. I do have one Korean restaurant that brings me out kimchi that the staff eats, plus an extra side of gochujang for anything I order. Damn the Japanese like stuff bland.

Or do the shelters have sufficient bedding? Did you bring 3 days worth of food or were you able to restock along the way? Did you take a camp stove with you or stick with dried and ...
