Ah NESPOT, yes. Proprietary tech sucks. I'm surprised you can't just run the program in compatibility mode for XP. Isn't it just a little program that sits in the taskbar? Or is it ActiveX? I only looked it into it years ago... I was curious why my notebook could see NESPOT hotspots, connect but then not do anything... unfortunately that type of hotspot is not uncommon... I think every university in Korea uses some form of...

certainly. in the meantime, if you are impatient, there may be some forums somewhere where you can get an invitation. i remember when google mail first started there was a scramble for invitations and i got mine from a complete stranger on a forum

it has to be better than vista. saw a demo of it on the tube the other night and some of the document management and search features looked good. it's about time search was improved on windows.

Both my Korean (Sky/Pantech) and Chinese (Nokia) phone have mobile chat applications. In China at least, they are pretty common. They are really too difficult to use though. Texting is one thing; but when you are chatting, people seem to get impatient waiting for an answer; and text input on a phone is too slow for anything more than one or two words. If you blast a jet of compressed air into your fan, any dust or whatnot will be blown all over the inside of your machine. Drop the battery and properly ground yourself, then use a vacuum cleaner to suck the dust out. You need a replacement fan as well.

My iRiver e10 is incredibly durable. I've put it through a lot of abuse and it still works just fine. I doubt that they sell that model anymore, and it's capacity is too small for your needs, but I'm sure they sell a newer model that's just as tough. The software for the computer side and the OS on the player itself can both be selected to use English. I highly recommend iRiver. If you knew ...
