Tokyo. Actually, Nakameguro, which is the nicest part of the nicest city in the world. And sorry if you confused my utter annoyance for bitterness, but, really.

i totally agree with Tommy and at the same time, i think it's fun to buy cute clothes for my babes. oh, about how they look compared to K-kids, my daughter has friends who always seem to be wearing something new. also, we have students, quite a few in fact, whose parents spend quite a lot on their kids clothes and they look adorable. so the analogy that half K-kids are dressed better and look better does not match my experience. in fact,...

Projects with the little ones. So, some of my coworkers have little one around the same age as my daughter, 3. We have decided to get together and do some kinds of science, art, etc.. projects. Last week we did Magic Corn. We are making rockets on Sat. If you have any good suggestions, please post. __________________ Until mankind is peaceful enough not to have violence on the news...

Not-so-proud parent moments My mum and my sister decided to take the boys (my sons plus my nephew) to the big library in the city. At some point, my sister checked baby_bird's nappy and realised it needed changing. But they had omitted to pack spare nappies, so they rounded up the kids (usually takes several minutes - as it usually involves them escaping and hiding several times) and...

Plastic and Aggressive Girls The between-the-lines information here is interesting. I didn't know boys were considered more aggressive than girls at the age of 2, and that the difference was considered biological. "A new study adds to the growing concern that prenatal exposure to the chemical bisphenol A could harm children's development. "In the study of 249 pregnant women, ...

I think her behaviour is more important than her mindset. If you want to meet her friends, say so. If you want her to refrain from racist remarks about foreigners, say so. Tell her how important it is. ...
