I like those little mom and pop Jap noodle stands. Their stuff tastes damn good, but then I'm a fan of Asian noodles from no matter what country. __________________ Quote: 23:37 Tarkaan` I'll leave you all with this: 23:37 Tarkaan` Emo boy: Matt! i just don't think the issue at hand is over wages and the system, which exists but which (imho) is unfair at its base. 'been reading about anarcho-syndicalism of late: Section 1: Defining Anarcho-Syndicalism 1b. Why do Anarcho-Syndicalists oppose the wages system? http://www.anarchosyndicalism.net/faq/1b.htm Quote: It can be argued, and Anarcho-Syndicalists do argue, that the wages system does not guarantee material independence and...

Two chickens and stuffing are in the pan, ready to be pulled at 11:30 for the long walk to the hakwon, where I'll nuke the potatoes and gravy. I hope the plates and forks we used last year are still there.

really, I keep hearing people saying that they're being told to tip between 20-25% which I think is rather high and ridiculous. I've always told my Korean students to tip between 10-15% with 20 being if service was great. __________________ "I bet when Stan Lee invented Iron Man, he said, 'Hey Jack! I'm not big on snacking as I'm trying to diet/eat healthy and that means lots of small meals which means I'm always snacking of a sort. BUT, when I want something terrible for me, my new vice has become the Lotteria Shrimp Burger. So wrong, so tasty.

I don't like Japanese food Well, phew. I've got that off my chest. I can never really admit it to anybody. I know it makes me some kind of culinary retard. I know, but I still don't care for it. I would be happy if I never ate Japanese food again. Can you imagine??? I do not like the base flavors of soy sauce, dashi, katsuoboshi, or sugar. Miso is okay, but just. And why is...

^ Man, I gotta send the Mrs. to one of those. Thanksgiving (US) is her fave holiday, because it's close to her birthday and usually involves lots of family and feasting. So this year, she came up with the bright idea that I could cook up a turkey and sides for her sometime between the time I get off work and the time I go play hockey. That's love for ya...

Homemade bread for lazy people You Tube Anyone tried it? I'm going to throw a mini batch into a casserole dish shortly, should have results later this evening. I'll be happy if it's edible. __________________ Quote: Graze on my lips; and if those hills be dry, Stray lower, where the pleasant fountains lie. Shakespeare, ...

Shinsegae anyone? Hi, Just returned from a trip to the Gyeonggi one in JukJeon last night. The grocery section was small, but was packed with so much foreign and organic stuff. Prices were a little higher than regular Emart stuff, but the quality set it apart. If you live near the one in Seoul or Gyeonggi, it's worth a visit.

Food for when you're ill! Nope I don't have the dreaded piggy flu, but I do have a cold. It's a cliché to say that Chicken Soup is good if you're a little under the weather, but it also happens to be very true. This is a mish mash of different flavours, but it does seem to work well. The glory of soup is that you can do experimental things with it. This dish has a hint of Asia, a ...
