VLookup with Multiple Results

To best describe or illustrate your problem you would be better off attaching a dummy workbook, the workbook should contain the same structure and some dummy data of the same type as the type you have in your real workbook - so, if a cell contains numbers & letters in this format abc-123 then that should be reflected in the dummy workbook. If needed supply a before and after sheet in the workbook so the person helping you can see what...

Help Creating a Loop

Simple lookups like this don't really need macros. Just change the B1:P1 values to 1,2,3 etc...put 1,2,3,4 etc...down the A column starting at A2 all the way to 30. Then put this formula in B2 and copy it to the whole chart: =IF(ISNUMBER(MATCH($A2 & "-" & B$1, Input!$A:$A, 0)), INDEX(Input!$B:$B, MATCH($A2 & "-" & B$1, Input!$A:$A, 0)), "")

Scott, presumably duration of shift dictates break type - can you outline the "logic" ? In essence in XL time is simply a decimal value (ie 24hrs = 1, 12 hours = 0.5 etc) and as such you can add/subtract time as you would any other number, eg in basic terms: Code: E5: =MAX(0,D5-"00:30") copied down P.S. What's the weather like up there ? I'm meant to be driving up to Yorks today but with the snow...

Hi,,
you can replace your average formula with
=average(if(you_range<>0,your_range,false)) and enter as an array formula with Ctrl+Shift+Enter
As for the second part, is is based on values in col T which do not seem coherent
the COUNTIF part has ranges like $q1:$q4 but the range in the following cell is like $q1:q$5.
Could you correct these and see if it's OK ?

Are you trying to look up the ID or the number? On your worksheet the ID that you're searching for is shown in the number column on the next sheet.

What formula got you the red/green conditions?

Put this formula in D3 and copy down:
= (B3>C3) +C3-B3
The red part added is basically a TRUE/FALSE statement, and anytime the answer is true, 1 gets added to the result making the math correct.

Something like:
=if(rows($A$1:$A1)>$X$1,"",Index($E$1:$E$100,smal l(if($A$1:$A$100=Today(),Row($A$1:$A1)-Row($A1)),R ows($A$1:$A1))
where X1 contains your Countif formula
E1:E100 is the column to extract data from and A1: A100 is the column containing dates to find Today() in...
Formula must be confirmed with CTRL+SHIFT+EnteR and not just ENTER... then copied down.

I don't know of a native function for that, perhaps someone else will. Here is a User Designed Function (UDF) that can accomplish it for you.
Code:
Option Explicit
Function ADDRESSIF(RNG As Range, VAL As String) As String
'JBeaucaire (12/16/2009)
'List cells containing VAL from RNG
Dim cell As Range, buf As String
For Each cell In RNG
If cell.Value = VAL Then
