So, Evil Avatar's first game of diplomacy has ended! http://www.evilavatar.com/forums/showthread.php?t= 53224 I thought I might as well get discussions started on who's in for round two. New comers get precidence over repeat players, of course. Oxonian, ShivaX, and Ink Asylum have all previously thrown their hats into the ring. I'd love to play again. What do you say? ...

The Anime Thread I don't know where the old thread is, but here is a new one. Just finished watching School Days. What started off as a standard, vapid harem romance/comedy slowly turns into... well, I don't want to spoil too much, but let's just say you'll shit bricks at the ending if you don't know anything about School Days, the ...

Comic Day! Week Thirty-Seven - September 4, 2008 This week, on the trenchant Johnny Gigawatt & the Tiger Men from Mars : the drive to save the house where Superman was born, Grant Morrison on where Final Crisis meets RIP, and more PAX shennanigans. What more could you ask for? A small week after last week's monster offering. Not ...

I'm fairly sure most of us have a song we really enjoy playing very loudly whenever we're pissed off in the car. I know I do anyway. What's yours? For my Girlfriend it's Welcome to the Jungle. For me, It's Bad Habit(Offspring). What's yours?

Sons of Anarchy looks like it could be really good, and it's probably the only one on that list I'm genuinely excited for. FX has had a really good track record these last few years. The Fringe pilot has been around on the 'net for a few months now, and I think unless they take a significantly different direction with the rest of the series I'll be TiVoing it for background noise. X-Files ...

Sons of Anarchy [FX] So, the first episode just aired. I thought that it warranted a topic. Spoilers may lay ahead folks. Personally, I thought it was great. I really loved The Shield , and while Rescue Me 's first season was good, I don't think anything has lived up to FX's original attempt at the late-night drama. Sons of ...

VH1's "100 Greatest Songs of the 80's" Anybody catch this? Here are the top 20/100: http://www.vh1.com/shows/dyn/the_gre...red_copy.jh tml What do you guys think? Personally, I LIKE Livin' on a Prayer, but I don't necessarily think it should have gotten the number one spot. What are YOUR favorite 80's songs?...

The thread that mentioned Flight of Dragons got me thinking about this. So what classics still have that magic for you? Changed to link ...dammit youtube Secret ...

So who has seen this? According to Rotten Tomatoes, this is definitely rotten. But I was looking forward to it. So I ask the same people who loved Too Human even though reviewers hated it, is this movie worth a watch?

The New York Times calls it "Sergio Leone Meets Reservoir Dog," and it's essentially a spaghetti western samurai mash-up made by the man behind Audition and Ichi the Killer. I hadn't heard of this until I saw it on the front page of the NY Times website. It hits the US next week and features Quentin Tarantino in a couple cameos. Looks pretty interesting!
