I played the beta a few months ago. The system was pretty fun and the game felt like a Fallout MMO. A lot of stuff needed to be polished and last time I read the beta forums there were still performance problems. I have a feeling when it's released it won't have many players so I think I'll pass on it.

I agree. I'm shocked how much I've fallen in love with this game just from the beta. It's weird, but I actually feel calm playing that game like it's stress relieving or something. Maybe it's the really cool music I have it preordered through Gamestop online but haven't gotten my codes as of yet.

Ah, that's a pity. Square could have a tough time with this. Can be a difficult problem to fix if they're compromised. Could this take down FFXI? Will subscribers flee the service? Will disputing the charges cause widespread payment problems for the regular monthly charge? Will I be able to come up with a further shocking possibility? Hmm, I suppose not.
